Integrated Structures was awarded the stabilization and shoring of certain parts of the existing structures on this new flagship Ralph Lauren store on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Work includes the installation of drilled micro piles, detailed excavation, reinforced concrete mat slabs and grade beams and the installation of a steel shoring structure to stabilize the existing “Landmark” limestone façade. Work also includes the installation of two (2) cast- in- place seven story concrete shoring towers to stabilize a party wall on the adjacent building.Integrated Structures was also awarded the complex supply, fabrication and installation of structural steel and the installation of precast concrete floor slabs. What made the project complex was the use of masonry bearing walls for the support of these structural elements to maximize floor space. Work includes the installation of steel stairs including a complex “Grand” stair that becomes the centerpiece of the store.
